Redundancies |
Have you been given notice of redundancy or are you an employer considering making staff redundant?
Whether you are an employer or an employee it is vital you receive the right advice…
Redundancy is a complicated area and the law requires a number of important steps to be followed prior to making someone redundant and, ultimately, for the right termination payment to be made.
If the correct procedures have not been followed then as an employer you may be liable for an expensive claim in the Employment Tribunal or, as an employee, you may find that you are entitled to additional compensation.
Whatever your situation, we can help you make the right decisions and assist you to settle your claim or, preferably, to avoid disputes arising in the first place. We regularly draft and review Compromise Agreements for employers and employees which are a cost effective and binding means of settlement. If you are an employee, your employer will even normally pay your legal costs.
