Charles Cooper, Solicitor-Advocate

Charles Cooper has recently been accredited as a Solicitor-Advocate (Higher Courts Civil Proceedings) by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.

As a Solicitor-Advocate he has been assessed to the same standards of advocacy as a barrister and is entitled to represent clients in the higher courts of England and Wales including the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court (formerly the House of Lords).

Mr Cooper was born in Newton Abbot, and read both Medicine and Law at University. He joined the firm in 2006 and now specialises in Tax, Contentious Probates and Wills and the Coroner’s Court.

Joanna Williams, the Managing Partner, has said: “We’re delighted that Charles has achieved this significant qualification which will be of great benefit to the firm and our clients”.
