Peter Williams

Peter was admitted as a solicitor in 1970 and became a partner in 1973. After running a branch office for many years practising general law Peter has, for the past 17 years, been based in Newton Abbot, specialising in leasehold and freehold property based transactions.
In addition to dealing with buying and selling properties, Peter’s work involves the various areas associated with property, such as building development, the enforceability of covenants, rights affecting land, joint ownership, mortgages, equity release schemes, and Stamp Duty Land Tax.
For 19 years Peter served as Clerk to a local Parish Council, and now serves as a Trustee for a local charity. His present interests include sailing, and collecting classic fountain pens.
