Standard Wills Package
Please read in conjunction with the Guidance Notes.
The service covers a number of straightforward situations including:-
1. A couple who wish to leave everything to each other and, failing that, to their children (if necessary on reaching the age of 18, 21 or 25) and where there is no need to plan for inheritance tax.
2. A couple who wish to leave everything to each other and, failing that, to one or more named persons or organisations
3. An individual who wishes to leave everything to named persons or organisations
In each of these situations, the service can include limited provisions leaving cash gifts, disposing of chattels, expressing any funeral wishes and, if relevant, appointing guardians.
As personal circumstances and wishes vary widely from one person to another, there can be no absolute rules about what is or is not a typical situation. If there is any doubt, we will quote a price before beginning work so that you can be sure exactly how much you will be charged.
The quoted prices include studying your Will Questionnaire, a consultation in person or by telephone, preparation of will(s) and sending the finished product to you for signature, or overseeing its completion at our offices.
There are, of course, cases where a simple will appears to be appropriate but it is not, in fact, suitable. If this is the case we will advise you and obtain your express permission to proceed with any additional work. Fees incurred will be based on the time spent, charged at a specified hourly rate.
One standard will £150.00 plus VAT
Two standard wills mirroring each other £195.00 plus VAT
